TailorWear is not a factory. We are a production house built on craft, pattern drafting, hand-cutting, and hand finishing, that operates with the precision and reliability a commercial partnership demands. We source fabric from various international mills.
Our partnership programs are built for professionals who already have client relationships and a clear aesthetic but need a production backend, a retail model, or a consulting framework to work at the level those relationships deserve.
Each program is designed for a different kind of professional – International designers and boutiques who need a co-branded manufacturing backend, Indian retailers who want to add bespoke tailoring to their store without inventory risk, and individual fashion professionals who want to build a personal consulting practice.

What kind of businesses does TailorWear partner with?
TailorWear partners with three types of professionals: international designers and boutiques who need a co-branded manufacturing backend in India; premium Indian apparel and lifestyle retailers who want to add bespoke menswear without inventory risk; and individual fashion professionals who want to build a personal consulting practice backed by TailorWear’s supply chain. All programs are selective – we work with partners where we see a genuine long-term fit.
Can a designer or boutique outside India partner with TailorWear remotely?
Yes. TailorWear works with international partners in the US, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand entirely remotely for production, fabric sourcing, and logistics. New partnerships begin with a video consultation and a sample order to establish quality benchmarks and pattern calibration before moving to commercial production.
Can an Indian retail store add bespoke tailoring without investing in fabric or a workshop?
Yes. TailorWear’s Last Mile Precinct program is designed for this purpose. The retail partner takes measurements and orders using TailorWear’s protocol. TailorWear handles all production, quality control, and logistics. Zero stock investment is required. The partner earns a revenue share on every order fulfilled.
What is the TailorWear Private Guild?
The Private Guild is a bespoke consulting partnership for experienced fashion professionals, stylists, NIFT alumni, retail veterans, and menswear consultants, who want to build a personal HNI client practice backed by TailorWear’s production infrastructure. Partners earn 15% commission on net sales, access TailorWear’s full fabric library, and operate under a defined territory. It is the Indian equivalent of models like J.Hilburn in the United States. Applications are reviewed individually.
Does TailorWear produce Indian ethnicwear – sherwanis, bandhgalas, Indo-western for partner brands?
Yes. TailorWear’s production capability covers the full spectrum of Indian and Western formal menswear: sherwanis, bandhgalas, Nehru jackets, Indo-western suits, structured Western suits, trousers, and shirts. This breadth is particularly valued by international partners working with South Asian clientele.
What fabric mills does TailorWear source from?
TailorWear sources from a curated network of Italian, British, and Irish mills including Ermenegildo Zegna, Loro Piana, VBC, Scabal, Albini, Thomas Mason, Baird McNutt, Harris Tweed, and Guabello. Partners can use TailorWear’s existing sourcing relationships or provide their own fabrics.
How does the onboarding process work across all programs?
All three programs follow a structured dialogue before any commitment. For international partnerships: initial inquiry, technical review, then commercial disclosure. For Indian retail partnerships: initial discussion, commercial and objective alignment, then launch. For the Private Guild: intent alignment, formal agreement, brand induction, then first client engagement. Commercial structures are shared only after the first stage confirms mutual fit.
