SHIPPING & DELIVERY
At TailorWear, we are committed to delivering artisanal precision to your doorstep, wherever you are in the world. Because every garment is a unique commission, our shipping process reflects the care and time required for bespoke craftsmanship.
1. THE ARTISANAL TIMELINE (LEAD TIMES)
The time taken to craft your garment depends on the complexity of the design and the origin of the textile:
Standard Commissions: For shirts, suits, or trousers using in-stock fabrics, our artisanal lead time is approximately 10 business days for production.
Exclusive & Imported Textiles: If your commission requires specific fabrics from our international mills that are not currently in our local atelier, the lead time is approximately 21 business days, subject to fabric availability.
Capacity & Delays: While we strive for absolute punctuality, delays may occasionally occur due to fabric scarcity, high seasonal demand, or logistics challenges. In such instances, our Client Concierge Team will contact you immediately to discuss progress or offer premium alternatives. Should an alternative not meet your satisfaction, a full refund will be issued.
2. SHIPPING COSTS & LOGISTICS
To ensure the highest level of service, we partner with world-class logistics providers, including DHL Express and FedEx.
Shipping at Actuals: We quote our bespoke prices exclusive of shipping charges, customs, duties, or taxes.
Transparency: Shipping costs are charged on “actuals.” Our team will provide the shipping cost details at the time of dispatch or during the final invoicing.
Tracking: Once your order has cleared our final quality inspection and has been dispatched, you will receive a notification via Email and SMS with your tracking credentials.
3. INTERNATIONAL COMMISSIONS (OUTSIDE INDIA)
TailorWear serves a global clientele. For orders shipped outside of India, please note the following:
Duties & Taxes: The recipient is the importer of record and is responsible for all applicable import duties, local taxes, and customs fees as determined by the destination country.
Customs Paperwork: While we provide all necessary commercial invoices and receipts to facilitate a smooth transition through customs, the client is responsible for providing any specific personal paperwork required by their local agency.
Estimates: We are unable to provide exact duty amounts as these are governed by local governments. We recommend contacting your local customs office for an estimate before placing your commission.
Refusal of Delivery: Due to the bespoke, made-to-measure nature of our garments, we cannot offer refunds if a delivery is refused due to the non-payment of local import duties or taxes.
4. DELIVERY EXCELLENCE
Every TailorWear garment is meticulously packaged in premium garment bags or specialized boxing to ensure it arrives in ready-to-wear condition. All shipments are monitored by our team until they reach your possession.
